Armodafinil is Central Nervous System wakefulness modulator and is the R-enantiomer of Modafinil i.e., more active and long-lasting. It can be used in treating various symptoms of excessive sleepiness conditions like Shift-Work Disorder, Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Narcolepsy.
